The State Library of Queensland presents the 2007 SLQ Library2.0 Unconference. Get together with other information professionals in a facilitated environment to informally learn, discuss and brainstorm anything and everything Library 2.0.

Details
Theme: Library 2.0 - using Web 2.0 social networking tools (blogs, wikis, feeds, podcasts, virtual reality, instant messaging, LibraryThing, MySpace, Facebook, Second Life etc) in Libraries. The program will be determined on the day by the attendees.
Where: State Library of Queensland, Cultural Centre, Stanley Place, South Bank.
When: Thursday 11 October 2007, 9.30am - 5.00pm (coffee available from 9.00am, post-conference drinks from 5.00pm).
Cost: $30 per person, includes all day tea and coffee, lunch and post-conference drinks. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements on your Registration Form.
Who: Anyone interested in Library 2.0, from beginners to passionate enthusiasts.
Guest speakers: Kathryn Green hill, Murdoch University, WA.
What to bring: Yourself, your interests, an open mind and your enthusiasm. Laptops welcome - wireless internet access is available.
Accommodation: If required, accommodation can be arranged through the State Library. Please advise of this requirement on your Registration Form.
Getting there: Parking is available at the Cultural Centre (cost: $10 per entry). The Airtrain [new window www.airtrain.com.au] travels from the Brisbane Airport to South Brisbane station. Buses and trains are available to the Cultural Centre, visit translink [new window www.translink.com.au] for timetables and more information.
